This has gone on long enough, don't you think. It seems like a gross joke that a fancy new building gets erected with a lot of "frills", maybe necessary... maybe not.... and that these 17 or so mainly clerical staff don't appear to be getting fair offers based on provincial averages.... One would have to think that part of the method of paying for the fancy new building is on the backs of these workers.... but that's the way this whole country was built, back in the day... At least that's the way I see it.

Published Apr. 2, 2008: Children set up curbside emergency care stands
As far as I know, no kids are actually planning to do this... but, it's not that stupid an idea, considering the news that keeps coming out about the state of our health care. And yes, the child psychiatrist does bear a resemblance to Lucy of "Peanuts" fame. I could have made this one look different, but I thought it would look funnier to have a "Lucy-look-a-like" in the middle and I did it out of homage to Mr. Charles Schultz, the creator of Peanuts.

Published Cartoons: Oct. 30, '07 : Hallowe'en Doctor in Red Tape

I did a black and white version and this coloured version and took them into the Sun Times. I found out that they can't do colour on the page that the editorial cartoon appears each day. That's just the way they're set up. And that's perfectly fine with me, 'cause most of the time I don't want to do colour and it's not really needed. But this cartoon, while it's o.k. in black n' white... still gets the point across I hope... works even better in colour and I'm glad that this blog gives me the opportunity to show it to you with the colour added.
