There's some talk about a tax on tires and t.v.'s that supposedly would go towards funding the set up of proper facilities to recycle these things in Ontario. As far as I know, this is still just talk. And as usual, a lot of people don't like the word "tax".... but then again, a lot of people want everything for nothing. To take an old George Bush Sr. phrase and twist it a bit so that it actually makes sense... "Read my lips. Taxes are a democracies way of paying for things we should all have. Duh."

There's some talk about a tax on tires and t.v.'s that supposedly would go towards funding the set up of proper facilities to recycle these things in Ontario.
